Beef Chili

Ingredients
- 1 lbs Ground Beef
- 16 oz Black Beans
- 16 oz Red Kidney Beans
- 16 oz Diced Tomatoes
- 4 oz Tomatoe Paste
- 1 whole Onion (Vidalia)
- 1 stick Butter
- 16 oz Water
Instructions
- Chop your onions and open up your canned goods.
- Cook at mid-warm and butter up your pot.
- Add your chopped onions and stir until they have a buttery glow to them.
- Add your grounded beef to the mix and add spices (e.g. chili powder, grounded pepper). Be sure to FULLY COOK your beef before you continue these instructions.
- Once your beef has browned, add your beans and 1 can of water to your chili.
- Cook with occasional stirring for roughly 5-8 minutes to soften the beans.
- Add diced tomatoes and tomato paste to the pot.
- Optional: Add another 1 can of water. Remember, the appropriate thickness of a chili is in the eye of the beholder.
- Cook with occasional stirring for another 5-8 minutes while seasoning to taste (e.g. onion powder, chili powder, ground pepper, salt).
- Sample your chili and determine how much longer your chili needs.
- Serve in a bowl and add shredded cheedar jack cheese for the ultimate experience.
